Intangible backed by $4 million in seed funding
Intangible, now secured with $4 million in seed funding, has developed an AI-driven creative tool that enables users to design 3D world concepts using text prompts. This innovative solution is tailored for creative professionals across various fields, including filmmakers, game developers, event organizers, and marketing agencies, as well as everyday individuals interested in visualizing their ideas, such as home designs or small art projects.

Upcoming Launch
With the recent funding, Intangible is set to launch its no-code, web-based 3D studio in June. The company is led by Charles Migos, a former lead designer for Apple’s iPad apps (iBooks, Notes, News) and ex-vice president of product design at Unity. His co-founder, Bharat Vasan, is an entrepreneur known for co-founding Basis, a wearables company acquired by Intel.
Vision and Concept
Migos came up with the concept while at Unity, where he aimed to create a tool that harnessed generative AI for all creatives. “While the Unity Editor is powerful, the true creative decision-makers often don’t use it,” Migos shared with TechCrunch. “With AI advancements, I realized we could make 3D creation accessible to those who currently can’t, packaging it for professional creatives.”
Features and Functionality
Intangible’s product simplifies 3D creation, allowing users to construct entire worlds without the need for coding expertise. By inputting prompts, users can generate intricate 3D environments, from cities to landscapes.
TechCrunch Disrupt 2025
The platform will debut at TechCrunch Disrupt 2025, where attendees can explore insights on AI, startups, space, fintech, and IPOs, featuring five main stages, breakouts, roundtables, and valuable networking opportunities in San Francisco, CA from October 27-29.
Starting with a 3D canvas editor, users can easily drag and drop from a library of approximately 6,000 3D assets, including various poses for people, trees, roads, vehicles, and more. Filmmakers can take advantage of storyboard features to adjust camera angles and organize scenes.
Once the initial designs are complete, users can enter “Visualizer mode,” utilizing AI image generation for enhanced scene rendering, powered by technologies like DeepSeek, Llama, and Stable Diffusion.
Collaboration Features
Collaboration is another key feature, enabling teams to share links to their projects and work together in real-time, facilitating feedback and adjustments seamlessly.

Early Access and Future Plans
Currently in closed beta, Intangible is accepting applications for early access. The startup has already garnered interest from numerous creatives, including prominent film and gaming studios, with specific names to be revealed later.
In June, Intangible will officially launch with both a free tier and subscription options priced between $15 and $50 per month, along with additional credits for image and video generation available for purchase. The recent funding round was led by a16z Speedrun, Crosslink Capital, and several angel investors.
The raised capital will focus on product development and expanding the team, which currently consists of 10 members, including lead product designer Philip Metschan, who has experience at Pixar and ILM. Intangible plans to double its workforce this year.
